Outlook Web Access

A large percentage of HB Mobile Email users choose to access their account primarily through their mobile device, whether it is an iPhone, a BlackBerry, a Windows Mobile phone, or some other mobile device. In addition to these mobile access capabilities, HB Mobile Email also comes with a fully featured web-based email client called Outlook Web Access. Outlook Web Access is the standard web mail client provided with Microsoft Exchange 2007 and allows users on any computer or laptop log into their HB Mobile Email account using many different web browsers. You can access the rich browser interface by logging in with Internet Explorer 6.0 or greater, and access the standard interface through any other web browser, including Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Opera and others.

Web Email

Whenever a new email is received on the HB Mobile Email Exchange server, it is pushed directly to any mobile device you have configured. The Outlook Web Access interface gives you a direct view to all your email messages saved on the server. This email listing will match the email list synchronised to your mobile device.

You can view all the same emails you would on your device from Outlook Web Access. And if you delete, read, reply or forward items from your mobile device, the changes will be synchronised on the server and you’ll be able to see the changes from Outlook Web Access almost instantly.

Web Calendar

Full calendar access is also available within Outlook Web Access. You can review your daily, weekly or monthly calendar, as well as respond to meeting requests and appointment reminders.

If you have created any appointments or sent and meeting requests from your mobile device they will be synchronised with the HB Mobile Email Exchange server and will be displayed in Outlook Web Access next time you log in. And any changes made from Outlook Web Access will be pushed back to your device.

Web Contacts

Sometimes entering contacts from a mobile phone or device can be difficult and time consuming. Especially if the device you are using only has a numerical keypad. With Outlook web access, you can enter your contacts more easily from any laptop or computer with internet access. Once your contact is entered it will be automatically synchronised to any mobile phone you have configured. And if you ever make any updates to the contact on your phone, it will be pushed back to the HB Mobile Email Exchange server and displayed in Outlook Web Access.

In addition to Email, Calendar and Contacts with push synchronisation, Outlook Web Access offers a number of additional features, including the following standard features:
    

• Out of Office replies – When you are away from your email you can set a custom vacation response.
• Task management to set up one-time or recurring tasks – Never forget to do something again.
• Using the Rules wizard you can set up custom email rules for managing your mail.
• Access to your HB Mobile Email account settings through our custom interface.
